What Is A Legal Grievance?

In the simplest terms, a legal grievance is a complaint filed against a member of the legal community (usually a lawyer but sometimes a judge or a paralegal also). Currently the filings are investigated by fellow members of the legal community. The community is self-regulating and self policing.

How To File A Legal Grievance

Legal grievances can be filed for free with the appropriate disciplinary authorities. There are 50 disciplinary authorities, one in each State. The disciplinary authority is usually either the State Bar or the State Supreme Court.

Why You Should File With Us

Approximately 90 percent of all grievance filings are dismissed without any disciplinary action being taken. These dismissals are often a direct result of gamesmanship or collusion and not necessarily a show of innocence by the attorney. The attorney has an unfair advantage but our service helps the public level the playing field. We provide the leverage needed to increase your chances of being treated fairly.
